AONL Issues Workforce Compendium Part 2

To mitigate workforce challenges, AONL this week released the second section of its three-part Nursing Leadership Workforce Compendium. This section on leadership and positive practice environments reflects the work of the AONL Workforce Committee and subcommittees, and it offers strategies to address the complexities of the nursing workforce and work environment. The compendium seeks to support and empower nurse leaders to thrive, engage in ongoing professional development and sustain environments where nurses want to work and feel they belong. AONL will release the third section later this month; it will include best practices in academic-practice partnerships, creating and growing a culture of inquiry and total rewards.
