AONL Advocacy Day Participants Meet With Elected Officials

This week, nearly 155 nurse leaders from over 30 states met in person with their national representatives during AONL’s Advocacy Day. Participants attended a legislative briefing and advocacy training before they embarked on more than180 meetings with the offices of elected officials to discuss key issues in health care, such as federal protections against workplace violence and solutions to staffing shortages.
