AONL, AHA support coalition to help Americans make science-based health decisions

AONL supports the Coalition for Trust in Health & Science, a group launched last week to combat misinformation and help Americans make science-based health decisions for themselves, their families and communities. Fifty national organizations, including the American Hospital Association, comprise the coalition. The partnership aims to achieve a measurable increase in the public’s willingness ─ and ability ─ to make the best personally appropriate health decisions. The Coalition will mobilize the breadth of its member network to facilitate rapid-cycle debunking of “particularly egregious disinformation and misinformation incidents” that can potentially harm the public.
