AJN webinar explores nursing’s role in addressing racism
The American Journal of Nursing (AJN) has posted a free webinar, Nursing’s Role in Addressing Racism. Citing discrimination against Black nurses in earlier centuries and the ways in which structural racism negatively affects the health of minority populations to this day, the webinar goes on to discuss strategies for achieving racial equity. A separate article in this month’s Nursing Outlook describes African-born Black nurses’ views of how race informs U.S. work environments.
