AHRQ updates safety evidence reviews

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has released four evidence reviews to help health care leaders to prioritize and implement safety strategies. They are Failure to Rescue ─ Rapid Response Systems; Prevention in Adults of Transmission of Infection with Multidrug-Resistant Organisms; Sepsis Prediction, Recognition and Intervention; and Engaging Family Caregivers. AHRQ continually updates the evidence on safety harms and practices; these reviews are part of AHRQ’s Making Healthcare Safer IV report. The reports consolidate information for health care providers, health system administrators, researchers and government agencies. (AHRQ News Now article, 4/23/24)
