AHRQ report presents effects of digital health technology
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) released its annual report of the Division of Digital Healthcare Research. The division was launched earlier this year to ensure discoveries in digital technology are successfully connected to improvements in safety and quality of care. The report shows how agency research has affected efforts to improve patient-centered care, support clinicians and others who provide health services and strengthen health systems through the use of data and technology. The report also shows how the knowledge base has advanced and describes how to digitally collect and use patient-reported outcomes. (AHRQ Views post, 10/22/20)
