AHRQ releases strategy for patient-centered outcomes research
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality announced this week it has released a blueprint for investing approximately $100 million per year on initiatives to get local health care systems closer to providing more equitable, whole-person care across a person’s lifespan. The agency says it collaborated with diverse health care interests to develop the framework to advance patient-centered outcomes research and dissemination. AHRQ investments will prioritize high-quality, safe care aligned with national health priorities; prevention and improved care for people with multiple chronic conditions; care that enhances trust; and primary care transformation.
