AHA podcast features quality prize winner

In an American Hospital Association (AHA) podcast, two clinicians from Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans, explain how their organization made significant quality improvements. Armin Schubert, MD, MBA, vice president for medical affairs, and Ryan Truxillo, MD, a family medicine specialist, discuss how Ochsner confronted the problem of patient deterioration and made changes that resulted in dramatic improvement over a two-year period. Ochsner was a 2022 finalist for AHA’s Quest for Quality Prize, presented annually to honor leadership and innovation in achieving high-quality health care and advancing health in communities.
