AHA podcast covers program to address unmet needs

In an American Hospital Association podcast, a manager at Children’s Minnesota in Minneapolis/St. Paul discusses how its Community Connect program uses check-ups at primary care clinics to identify unmet health-related social needs. The Community Connect program earned an AHA 2022 NOVA Award. The annual AHA Dick Davidson NOVA awards recognize programs addressing many of the United States’ pressing health challenges. The deadline to apply for this year’s award is Nov. 16.
