AHA issues workforce guide on data and technology

The American Hospital Association (AHA) this week released the second section of a three-part series to help health system leaders navigate workforce challenges and opportunities. Focused on data and analytics, as well as technological supports, the guide includes shorter and longer-term strategies, resources and case studies from U.S. hospitals and health systems. The guide’s first section offered strategies and resources to support workforce well-being and behavioral health and prevent workplace violence. The guide’s last section will focus on strategies and staffing models to support recruitment, retention, diversity, equity and inclusion. (AHA News article, 7/27/22)
