AHA highlights hospital exemplars advancing health equity

The American Hospital Association highlighted the work of three organizations who received the 2024 Carolyn Boone Lewis Equity of Care Award. Radnor, Pa.-based Main Line Health provides diversity, equity and inclusion training for all employees. It offers employee resource groups and listening circles, as well as collaborates with community partners to address the social drivers of health. Augusta Health in Fishersville, Va., offers a mobile clinic using geospatial analysis to identify high-need areas and provide tailored primary care services. AnMed in Anderson, S.C., has improved language services and communications for patients with limited English proficiency. Applications for the 2025 Equity of Care award open July 22.
