AACN lays out vision for technology use in academic nursing

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing released a document entitled “Vision for Sharing Data and Information Across Nursing Education, Practice and Regulation.” It calls for developing an integrated information system ─ supported by technology, people and processes ─ that makes it easier to share data and information among schools of nursing, health care settings and regulatory bodies. AACN will hold a webinar on Jan. 24 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. ET to explain the vision and discuss how faculty can use criteria to identify and/or develop technology to support implementation of the 2021 Essentials: Core Competencies for Nursing Education.
