NCC outlines updated FY 2024 funding requests

AONL and 62 other members of the Nursing Community Coalition sent a letter this week to Congressional leadership and the House and Senate Appropriations Committees. They requested at least $302.472 million for Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development Programs and at least $197.693 million for the National Institute of Nursing Research in fiscal year 2024, as specified in legislation passed by the Senate Appropriations Committee. The NCC stressed funding levels should not decline, given the need for nurses. (NCC letter, 11/13/23)
