Joint Commission rolls out dashboard for skilled nursing centers

Joint Commission-accredited skilled nursing centers now have a new tool at their disposal: a dashboard report that shows their performance on select measures compared to national and state averages and those of other organizations accredited by The Joint Commission. The dashboard uses data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Nursing Home Compare website and will be updated quarterly. The dashboard can be found on the Continuous Compliance section of the Joint Commission’s extranet site. Additional Dashboard Reports for home health, hospice, ambulatory surgery center and hospital programs will be released later in the year. (Joint Commission Online story, 5/22/19)
