Joint Commission launches performance improvement dashboard

The Joint Commission made Accelerate PI, a performance improvement dashboard, available to its accredited hospitals this week. The dashboard uses the most recent data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Hospital Compare website to show organizations how they compare on selected accountability measures. The dashboard will display chart-based and electronic clinical quality measure data reported to the Joint Commission under the ORYX program. Accelerate PI dashboards were already available for nursing care centers, home health and hospice organizations, and ambulatory surgery centers. (Joint Commission Online story, 2/5/20)
