Joint Commission issues advisory on fighting nurse burnout

In response, The Joint Commission has issued a Quick Safety advisory on combat ways to combat nurse burnout. The advisory urges health care organizations to cultivate resilience as a preventive measure against burnout, and it lists the potential benefits of intervening. These include increased employee retention, reduced staff turnover and increased patient satisfaction.
