Joint Commission campaign aims to prevent falls

This week, The Joint Commission introduced its latest safety campaign, Speak Up To Prevent Falls. The campaign provides an infographic on falls hospitals can post and a video that can be used in hospital programming. A separate guide includes recommendations on how facilities can communicate with patients, caregivers and advocates to prevent falls. The campaign is the third in the Joint Commission’s award-winning Speak Up program, which has been used in more than 70 countries.(Joint Commission Online story, 7/24/19)
