DAISY offers grants for RN clinical research and practice projects

As part of its mission to improve the treatment of patients with auto-immune diseases or cancer, the DAISY Foundation is offering two types of grants to encourage RNs to further evidence-based practice. Grants of up to $5,000 are available for studies that involve clinical research directly benefitting patients and/or families. RNs may also apply for up to $2,000 for evidence-based practice projects that use patient-focused data to study and develop improved nursing practices. Letters of intent must be submitted by Sept. 4, 2019. Successful applicants may also apply for subsequent funding to share their findings at professional conferences.
