CNO shares insights on lowering vacancy, turnover rates
At the start of her tenure at Rush Oak Park Hospital, vacancy rates in some departments were 24 percent. AONL member Karen Meyer, PhD, RN, now reports the hospital has only one nurse vacancy, and nurse turnover has decreased from roughly 22 percent to 8.3 percent.
