CDC issues updated TB guidelines for health care workers

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued new guidelines for screening health care workers for tuberculosis (TB). The guidance is based on a systematic review of evidence published between 2006 and 2017. By updating its 2005 guidelines, the agency aims to reduce the transmission of TB in health care settings.
