AHA offers resources on maternal health

As part of its commitment to eliminating maternal mortality and reducing severe morbidity, the American Hospital Association (AHA) has compiled a variety of resources to help hospitals improve maternal health outcomes. These include a podcast and case studies designed to spotlight efforts across the country where hospital-based clinicians and community stakeholders are working together to improve racial disparities in maternal health. As part of the Better Health for Mothers and Babies initiative, AHA is also collecting best practices in maternal health by asking hospitals to send information on their efforts in this area to BHMB@aha.org.
