AHA hosts webinar on recognizing, assisting sex-trafficked youth

The American Hospital Association’s Hospitals Against Violence initiative will host a webinar Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. ET to help health professionals understand the unique needs of young people who have been or are currently trafficked for sex. The webinar will present a case study highlighting key issues health professionals encounter when treating this population. These include consent and confidentiality, mandatory reporting requirements and the importance of taking a trauma-informed approach to providing care. View more information and register.
