Workplace Violence Prevention Leadership Symposium
Part of the AONL Foundation Leadership Think Tank Series
Since the onset of the pandemic, violence against health care workers has increased — and there is no sign it is receding. What we are seeing in hospitals and health systems is reflective of what we are seeing in our society. From verbal incivility to violent acts in our communities, that same behavior is spilling into hospitals. Protecting health care workers and addressing workplace violence remains a top priority for everyone in health care. No one should have to worry about their safety while at work, especially when caring for patients.
