Foresight Leadership
Anticipating the Future of Nursing and Health Care
Equip yourself and your organization for success with foresight leadership as you tackle challenges and disruptive innovations. By anticipating situations and consequences, you’ll improve your ability to predict the results of your actions. This webinar explores foresight as a leadership skill, focusing on how organizations can focus on the future rather than the past or present. Topics discussed include organizational processes for evaluating industry trends and how organizations can anticipate, analyze and evaluate the impact and consequences of disruptions.
To further support the teaching and learning of foresight leadership, the University of Minnesota—School of Nursing and the Katharine J Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership created an innovative foresight leadership resource center to support a digital learning community of health care professionals.
The center was developed to educate and inspire nurses and health care professionals to master the theory, knowledge and practice of foresight leadership, using the resources collected to stimulate learning about future studies, future methodologies and provide people with ideas and strategies to anticipate and navigate emerging trends and consequences of social, technological, economic, environmental, and political developments likely to influence the future.
