Personal Resilience for Leaders
A Path to Thrive: Self-Care for Nurse Leaders
Personal resilience is foundational to emotional wellbeing. We also need communities to support us, and as leaders, we need to help create those supportive communities.
This virtual program delivers a combination of guided professional insights, practical tools and personalized small-group learning and coaching to help you focus on your own health and wellbeing, as well as assist in supporting your team’s emotional healing.
Develop a life-long network of supportive peers as you move through this program with a community of nurse leaders. Together, you will create new patterns in nursing leadership to make this work a sustained priority both individually and as a profession.
Through lecture and small group discussions you will:
- Build a stronger base of awareness, endurance and resilience to regain control of what is foundationally core.
- Develop a path back to the level of energy required to thrive in every aspect of your life.
- Explore specific leadership strategies to create a more resilient team culture in service of directly supporting nurse colleagues.
By joining the cohort, we ask you to:
- Commit to personal resilience by practicing what you are learning as a way to care for yourself.
- Commit to nurturing a community of healing in your workplace, bringing the knowledge gained to your staff, supporting them in their healing, and advocating for nurse wellbeing.
- Commit to this community by attending the sessions and engaging with your peers by sharing experiences in small groups, resilience practices, and caring for each other.
