Description

The Finance & Business Skills for Nurse Managers program on Sept. 24 is cancelled. For anyone who has registered, your program registration is automatically cancelled and a refund will be issued. If you booked a hotel room within the conference block at the Embassy Suites Kansas City - Airport, your reservation will automatically be canceled. You are responsible for canceling your own travel plans, including flights and (if you booked outside of the block). Should you have any questions, please contact Shanna Sweeney at ssweeney@aha.org

Strong financial skills are necessary to be an effective leader in today’s health care environment. The Finance and Business Skills for Nurse Managers program better equips nurse managers and other leaders for nursing finance management.

A discounted nightly rate has been arranged at the Embassy Suites Kansas City - Airport. A special link to reserve the discounted rate will be provided in your confirmation email.

AONL cannot be held liable for non-refundable airline tickets or hotel room deposits. AONL suggests that you do not purchase restricted or nonrefundable tickets for travel to the annual meeting. AONL assumes no liability for penalties or fare increases should the annual meeting sell out or in the unlikely event that changes to the annual meeting dates and/or location become necessary. Hotel reservations, cancellations and charges are the attendee’s responsibility. 

Continuing Education Contact Hours & Accreditation Statement

The program offers attendees the opportunity to earn up to 7.0 continuing education credits.

The American Organization for Nursing Leadership is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. AONL is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15740. This program is co-provided by AONL and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Cancellation

A refund minus 20% will be granted to written requests received 14 days or more prior to the start date of the program. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Shanna Sweeney at ssweeney@aha.org. We regret will not be able to grant refunds after this date.

Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate. If the alternate is not a member of AONL and original registrant is a member, the nonmember differential must be paid.
